Non-Disclosure

So you have a great idea that you think you might want to patent.   Almost everyone does; the idea is the easy part.   Big companies spend billions of dollars coming up with great ideas in their Research and Development departments.   If you still think your idea is unique, the most important free advise we can give you is:  DON'T TELL PEOPLE!   With the exception of your spouse and a few confidential advisors who are sworn to secrecy.  Here's why.   Words are containers for knowledge and they have a way of spreading out like ripples in the pond when a stone has been thrown in.  The more people you tell, the greater chance that your idea will reach a larger company who is better able to patent and produce your idea than you are.    Don't fool yourself, the pond of ideas is plentiful.   So, how do you begin???   You can use this Non-Disclosure for anyone you choose to share the idea with, but we require it for Inventive Ideas.  We operate with a high degree of ethics and if your idea isn't marketable, we'll tell you.  If we like it, we'll provide you some options and let you know how to get started.  The degree of money you made is directly related to the degree of risk you're willing to take!.

Here's the questions you should answer before you do anything else:

1. What other products in the market compete with mine?   Search the Internet.
2. How much do they cost? 
3. Is it realistic to think I can manufacture my product for the same or less and still add value?  
4. Who would buy my product or service and why is my idea better?
