Stewart & Carrie Jeske have been happily married for over 20 years.  In 2000, they combined their business skills to form Inventive Ideas, Inc. and built a team of qualified investors and business advisors to launch new patent products to market. 

Stewart is a licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri and Kansas and and the President of Jeske Engineering, providing civil and structural engineering services.  In addition, he oversees all product development and quality assurance for Inventive Ideas.  Stewart is a "problem solver" with a high degree of persistence and detail orientation.  He invented and patented SportsShade, a portable, retractable awning and Army Hutz, a building toy for children.  Stewart has many other products in the patent development process and enjoys consulting, providing manufacturing services and conducting training seminars for others interested in launching new ideas into the market.

Carrie is President of Inventive Ideas and oversees the day to day operations of the company.  Her focus is on sales and marketing of new and existing product lines.   Prier to joining Inventive Ideas, she served as President of VITEC, Inc., a value added reseller for call center technology.  Carrie is best known for her team building skills.  She is a professional trainer in selling skills, management technique, customer service, personality styles and organizational development.  Carrie is a driven, extrovert who enjoys people and has a gift of encouraging individuals to rise to higher levels of performance.  

The couple have two sons, Byron (14 yrs) and Braxton (13 yrs) and are active in Boy Scouts of America, church leadership, Teaquando, competitive coed softball, recreational golf, the Inventor's Club of Kansas City and IBI Global.

 

Operational Managment Team

John Steele serves as Sr. Vice President of Licensing and Branding for Inventive Ideas, Inc. John is founder of Creating Icons IPL, LLC.  John is former Vice President of Licensing and Branding, Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation, parent of Smith & Wesson Corp., the 150 Year Old firearms manufacturer based in Springfield MA. John has a career of more than two decades in the Sporting Goods, Active Lifestyle, and Firearms Industries, both Retail and Wholesale. Brands such as Catalina, Cole of California, Hang Ten, Cherokee Apparel and Licensing, Dunlop, Maxfli, Slazenger, Smith & Wesson, Cybergun S.A., Taylor Cutlery, and Colt’s Manufacturing are among the many licensees and licensors who have enjoyed branding and financial success through the efforts of John Steele.

 

Dub Hollon is Inventive Ideas CFO.  Mr. Hollon is a top level executive with an extensive background in corporate management, financial management, mergers and acquisitions, strategic    planning and business advisory services, including IPO and SEC reporting experience.  MBA and CPA with more than 35 years experience solving difficult problems and maximizing financial results.  Industry segments have included high tech, entertainment software, hospitality, light manufacturing and consulting.   

 

Chris Hayes comes on board as Director of Marketing and brings 30 years of research, marketing and advertising experience to Inventive Ideas, Inc.  Starting his career at Booz, Allen & Hamilton’s in-store research arm, Market Audits and with stints at Northlich Stolley, Wyse Advertising, Barkley & Evergreen and Valentine Radford, he has focused primarily on consumer packaged goods and retail with an emphasis on new product introductions.  Mr. Hayes has handled strategic brand assignments for Procter & Gamble, Sara Lee, John Morrell, Pizza Hut, Halocline and Stouffer’s as well as product development work for Nestle.

 

Lynne Hayes joins Inventive Ideas as Director of Advertising.  Ms. Hayes has owned and operated her writing and production company since 1995, and brings 30 years of strategic thinking, copywriting, and broadcast production experience to the Inventive Ideas, Inc. operational team.  Prior to opening her business, Ms. Hayes worked as a senior copywriter/producer for Dahlgren & Ferris, Lawler-Ballard, Wolf, Blumberg, Kory, and Stern Advertising; agencies representing clients of all types, from corporate image to consumer package goods (focusing on new product introduction), retail, and business-to-business.  She also worked in promotions and on-air news at two radio stations in the Cincinnati area. 

Office Staff

Susan Calvin serves as Office Manager.   Susan has a degree in graphic design. She has a background in advertising and various other office and administrative positions.  She is looking forward to helping the company with the day to day operations, order processing, sales administration and executive support.  

Barb Olson is our office Bookkeeper.   Barb has an accounting degree and CPA certificate. She does accounting and tax preparation.  Barb keeps up to date with new tax information so she can help people with financial matters that they may have success in their business and personal lives.


Ben Surman joins our team as an Inside Salesperson focued in the Automotive Aftermarket segment and overseeing all Regional Account Penetration.    Ben is a goal oriented, driven professional with a creative marketing passion!
